PRF
PRF – Faster, More Comfortable Healing
PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) uses your body's own healing power to help you recover faster. It's one of my special interests. I use it in extractions, wisdom tooth removal, bone grafting and implant surgery. It can reduce swelling and discomfort, lower the risk of dry socket and help grafts heal well.
How it works
It's quick, simple and completely natural. Nothing artificial goes in – just your own blood, concentrated to help you heal.
- 01
A small blood sample
I take around 10–20 ml from your arm, much like a routine blood test.
- 02
Spinning
The sample goes into a centrifuge for a few minutes to separate out the healing layer.
- 03
Preparing the PRF
That layer forms a soft gel, which I shape into a small plug or membrane.
- 04
Placing it
I place the PRF where it's needed, for example in the socket after an extraction or around an implant.
Because it comes from you, there's no risk of rejection or allergic reaction.
